“Pole barns, as we build them, do not actually use poles. We use laminated treated 2x lumber for our posts, because it insures that the treatment penetrates though the whole piece of wood. When a 6x6 is used, the treatment only penetrates about 3/4” and so we see these posts rotting after a number of years. With our system, we can be assured that the wood will not rot. These buildings offer the most square footage per dollar of any of our structures, but still have the exact same exterior metal as used in the engineered steel buildings.”
