Mountain Style Custom Home

This was my first house and was built in a kind of “mountain” style. The interior features an open plan and ceilings that react 22’ at the peak. The lower level provides storm protection as it is made with foam form concrete walls and is a walk-out basement. The upper part of the house features SIP panel walls that are 8” thick, while the roof is 10” thick. This makes for an extremely energy efficient house. The heat and air is geo-thermal with a whole house air purification system. The windows are double-pane 1/4” tempered glass. When they were being unloaded, workers mistakenly walked across them before they realized it as the windows were laying down. Needless to say they are very strong and quiet. The exterior features a metal roof, vertical board on board concrete siding attached with stainless steel screws and split face integral colored block.
